Do detox kits for THC work? I have a drug test within the next 2 weeks and am wondering if the kits on sites like detoks.com work. I have heard mixed reviews about how well cranberry, niacin, and water works, and don't want to have to deal with trying synthetic urine. I am a very light user, but have recent activity.

I heard detox kits are expensive and don't work. I know that water and 2 daily vitamins worked for people I know. the vitamins needed to include niacin and b2, also vitamin D is good for keeping urine yellow. but also they sell multi vitamins at gas stations its a dollar. That works.Don't drink too much water though clear urine is just as bad as a positive. Pee about 3 times before you go.That'ss all. best way is to not use.

They work about 50% of the time. there are a lot of factors like weight, usage, how long ago, and a number of other things. Don't smoke any more till then. Good luck

What you WANT to hear: oh, yeah, dude, just drink water and work up a sweat, and get some of those fancy things from the Head Shop and drink them, and take some Niacin, and you'll pass, no problem, dude..

Now, what you NEED to hear: there is nothing you can take or do to eliminate the THC metabolites from your system. Water doesn't work. Orange juice doesn't work. nor tea. nor Niacin. nor special potions from the Head Shop. nor showers, nor saunas. Certainly not vinegar, which will only toss a bunch of acid on your stomach and give you heartburn in addition to carrying a load of THC in your system.

The simple fact is, you cannot remove the THC from your system once it's in there. Your body can metabolize out 99% of it over time. How much time? Depending on how good your kidneys are working, anywhere from 30 days to 6 months. And there is NOTHING you can do to speed that up. Nothing. It's all up to your body to get rid of it by itself.

Bottom line, whether you want to hear it or not, if you want to pass drug tests, you have GOT to stay clean. you can do drugs, or you can pass drug tests, but you can NOT do both. Simple as that. No matter what anyone tells you. If you knew you had a drug test coming up, and you knew you had to pass it, then you made a very bad decision. And now you will suffer the consequences. That's not what you want to hear, but it's the truth.

There are drinks you can buy on the internet, not sure if they work. Also you can buy fake urine or powdered urine.

There is no way (spelt N-O W-A-Y) of speeding up the elimination of illicit drugs, though the manufacturers of detox potions find it a good way of speeding the elimination of money from your wallet.

first off if you never smoke weed and this was a one time thing in the past month then you'll be OK! because weed doesn't sit in your fat cells until you smoke daily. if you take a detox drink you have to take it a few hours before the test because drinks only last 5 hours max! the detox drinks work only if it's an instant test meaning that your results pop up right then and there if the test is being sent out to a lab then typically these detox drinks don't work ( i know because i am on probation and smoke weed and oxycontin) but like i said if you haven't smoked in a long time and this was a once in a month type thing you'll be ok. trust me because i've failed and past a lot of tests and have researched this stuff over and over again. and one more thing…if you have been smoking weed a lot there is no way to flush it out of your system drinking a lot of water just dilutes your piss and doesn't actually take the weed out.
